I am having a birthday party tonight at my house.
I have MAME, genesis, and NES ROMS of all sorts.
Come out if ya can.I got my x-arcade two player joystick. Unfortunately it has a first player joystick that is totally fux0rd. The joystick internals are broken in several places. I don't know if this was shipping or not, but the joystick itself is totally unplayable. I told the guy at tech support that I could just replace the joystick myself, but then I could not get one of the bolts securing the joystick out because it was totally stripped at the base. Now I have to send it back because I have spent entirely too much of my time with this piece of shite. Whoever was assembling this at the factory must have beeen on some kind of crack and/or speed binge.
In other news, I have added a banner to wholefoodfarmacy at the top of the site. They have a bunch of really awesome organic food at wholesale prices. This is seriously good stuff. Anyway, check it out if you are looking for good stuff to eat. I like the fruitalicious, and the bucky balls.... delicious!

Our guinea pig died last night. Right in front of our eyes. We tried to save her, but she didn't make it. She wasn't even a year old. . . fuck. . . I can only feel entirely responsible for death because she was under my care. She has completed her cycle of life now. . . there's nothing else I can do. I hope she is reincarnated as something better, like a giraffe. Poor little bugger. Our lives have been so busy lately, we didn't even notice her suffering.
Lately I have been consumed in ROM whoring, playing MAME, NES, and Genesis emulators. Wedding planning is a bitch. Fuck... if only. There's so many things I wish I could have done differently in my life... especially in the last year. C'est la vie

So I caught that bloody squirrel. I caught him with a broom and a clothes basket in my daughter's room... I will post up the pictures when I get the chance. Since then we caught another in the backyard, and another in the attic. What a pain in the ass. After that it snowed about 20 inches or so, the first snowfall of 2006 really. I drove home when it was snowing ~3inches an hour. Visibility of about 10-15 feet. Not particularly fun, but certainly exciting. The next day after I shoveled snow for about 2 hours or so, Kat, Isis, Emily, and I built an igloo in the backyard. It was teh shazbot! I hate squirrels. We have them in the house and in the floors and walls. So goddamn annoying. We are having some company come and remove them. I ate some shrimp today for lunch, because it was free. It wasn't even very good shrimp. They had salad though that was awesome. It was a contracting company holiday luncheon. The coffee they had was terrible though. I've been feeling very stressed lately about the whole wedding, squirrels, job, server migration, the universe and everything... Did I ever say I hate patchlink?

Fred Phelps and his hate mongering fucktards are at it again. I hope someone shoots their monkey loving asses. Seriously, these people need to die. If Fred Phelps ever came to my neighborhood I would go and meet him so I could punch him in the face. What a shithead. It's days like these that make me glad to be at workwasting my life doing petty crap like DNS instead of going out and killing the Fred Phelps' of the world. You know, I really don't want to be doing this computery crap in 5 years... It's about as interesting as popping zits. Thank god for Amy's vegeterian food. If it weren't for that I would have to eat really bad salad every day from the cafeteria at work. Ick. I started playing with renoise again for the first time in... umm.. I don't even know how long. I'm still kind of pissed off that bobby got fired. I hate money. I wish I didn't have to worry so much about it.

Today has been busy with many things. I have been moving all of the server's home directories to the new server. It's quite the pain in the ass. The comments feature of djekz.com is almost done, but still in development. Maybe I'll finish it after this?
